Class IX student thrashed for getting up late

Parigi:  A Physical Education Teacher, Gopal, working in a social welfare residential school at Vidyaranyapuri here, on Tuesday allegedly thrashed a ninth class student Sridhar for waking up late on Tuesday. 

As the PET thrashed him on the student’s fractured hand, the hand was swollen. He was even accused of threatening the student with dismissing from the school with TC. Unable to bear the pain, he intimated it to his relatives who questioned the principal. Showing no signs of remorse, the principal allegedly supported the PET and offered to provide first-aid to the student.
