MBA student commits suicide

Kurnool: A 21-year-old MBA student committed suicide after jumping from an overbridge on Bengaluru-Hyderabad National Highway near Munagalapadu on Wednesday. According to sources, the victim has been identified as J Anil, a native of Lakshmi Nagar in Kurnool, was pursuing MBA in a private college.  

A suicide note purportedly written by deceased was found at the site says, “I don’t want to live any more. I want to end my life, and no one is responsible for my death.”

According to sources, the deceased committed suicide afraid of failure in some subjects, which he skipped in semester system. Acting on the information given by a villager, Village Revenue Officer (VRO) Sreedhar and the taluka police reached the spot and found the body of Anil. 

The police also found a suicide note in his shirt pocket and shifted the body to Kurnool General Hospital for post-mortem. The police informed about the suicide to Anil’s parents, Elisha and Mariyamma, who lives in Lakshmi Nagar in Kurnool. The taluka police registered a case.
