Rayapati urges doubling of Secunderabad-Guntur railway line

Guntur: MP Rayapati Sambasiva Rao has  urged  the railway officials to take up works on doubling of Guntur-Secunderabad  railway line  to meet  increased  traffic. Guntur is part of state capital Amaravati, he points out. 

He stressed on  the need to electrify Nadikudi-Srikalahasti railway line works. The railway officials conducted  the meeting with the  MPs in  Vijayawada   on Tuesday in  view of forthcoming Railway Budget session.

After the meeting with Railway officials, Rayapati spoke to the media.  He says that he has suggested  the officials to lay new  railway line between  Chirala-Narasaraopet-via Chilakaluripet. The MP also  urged the  railway officials to construct new railway line between Macherla-Gadwal.He stressed  on  the need to revive Nagarjuna Express  immediately.
