TDP leaders booked for APM assault

Gajapathinagaram (Vizianagaram):  Six TDP leaders, including one sarpanch and two MPTCs and their husbands, were booked by the police for assaulting an assistant project manager of Velugu on Tuesday in Gajapathinagaram during the Janmabhoomi programme in Vizianagaram district.APM R Srinivasarao was attacked by TDP leaders in the presence of huge a gathering. Later, he lodged a complaint with police station.

Inspector S Kalidas registered a case against sarpanch N Adilakshmi and her husband Sankara Rao, MPTC N Prasanna Kumari and her husband Chandu, another MPTC Sridevi and her husband Nanaji. On Wednesday, Velugu employees and officers met Collector Vivek Yadav and appealed him to provide protection from politicians.
