Leopard found dead in canal

Kurnool: A dead leopard was seen being washed away in the Telugu Ganga Canal water at Rudravaram village on Thursday. According to the available information, some villagers, while going to theirfarm, have spotted something was floating in the water.

They went near the canal and confirmed that it was a dead leopard. They immediately brought to the notice of the Forest department. Forest Conservator Sri Ramulu said villagers have informed them that they have seen a leopard being washed away in the canal water. He said the staff will carry out search operations on Friday.
