Nara Bhuvaneswari unveils NTR statue
Guntur: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu’s wife Nara Bhuvaneswari paid a visit o Timmapuram village in Yadlapadu mandal in Guntur district on Thursday. Villagers accorded her a warm welcome upon her arrival.
She performed puja to Goddess Poleramma in the village. Later, he unveiled the statue of the late Chief Minister and her father NT Rama Rao in the village. Subsequently, she inaugurated a community hall and Lokesh Praja Vedika.
Speaking on this occasion, she said people will never forget the late NTR, who launched several welfare schemes for the poor, and added that NTR Trust will be in forefront in service activities.
Later, she interacted with local SHG women. Locals gave Rs 5 lakh donation to NTR Trust and handed over the cheque to her.
