Sub Inspector suspended

Alur (Kurnool): Adoni Sub Division Police Officer (SDPO) YBPTA Prasad has said that the Sub Inspector G Krishna Murthy, working at Halaharvi police station is placed under suspension.  

The Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Ghatamaneni Srinivas has issued orders to this effect and following his orders action has been initiated with immediate effect, said the DSP during a press conference held at his chamber on Sunday.

Briefing about the suspension, the DSP has said that the SI  Krishna Murthy was said to have involved in a private settlement and  demanded Rs.10,000. He has collected the money after threatening a farmer, Thippanna of Amruthapuram village.
