South Central Railway General Manager opens ramp at Guntur Railway Station 

Guntur: South Central Railway General Manager Vinod Kumar Yadav  said Guntur–Tenali track doubling woks project will be completed by 2019. He inaugurated mobile  ramp facility for differently abled and  elderly persons at Guntur Railway Station  on Wednesday which was set up with the  cooperation of private  companies.

Speaking on the occasion, he said that the ramp facility is useful to the differently abled and elderly persons. He said 370 km works of Guntur–Guntakal have been completed so far and remaining 60 km would be completed soon.

He said Nallapadu- Padiripalli electrification works would be completed  soon. Guntur Division railway manager Bhuma  said due to installation of LED  lights, they saved 40 per cent electricity in the division.
