Never said Governor is biased: Haribabu

Tirupati: BJP state president K Haribabu made it clear that he never said that the Governor was acting in biased manner but only said that AP should have separate Governor. Haribabusaid that hewrote a letter to the Centre that there was no need for combined Governor as everything was split after the division of the state.

Speaking to media at Tiruchanoor on Saturday, he said the Centre is ready to shift the high court to the state once the suitable building is provided. Haribabu disclosed that he will ask the Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh about the separate Governor for APin the winter session of parliament.

He thanked the TTD for agreeing to supply fodder to Gosala at Tiruchanoor for three months and assured that he will discuss for permanent solution with the government.

“There will be no BJP’s involvement in appointing the TTD Trust Board. It is the prerogative of State government. We don’t suggest anyone in this regard,” he maintained. Stating that NDA government was committed to development of Andhra Pradesh, he reminded that 80 percent of assurances given in the state reorganisation act were fulfilled and the remaining 15 percent will be fulfilled soon.
