YSRCP delegation to meet AgriGold victims

Vijayawada: YSRCP senior leader Botcha Satyanarayana on Saturday said the party delegation would visit all districts in the state to meet the AgriGoldvictims. Addressing media at the state party office, he slammed the Telugu Desam government for not responding to the problems of AgriGold depositors and agents.

He said Opposition leader Y S Jaganmohan Reddy had raised the AgriGold issue in the Assembly seven months ago but there is no response from the government. Jagan had demanded that the government should speed up efforts to do justice to 32 lakh victims. The senior leader announced the YSRCP would provide legal assistance to victims and the delegation from the party would visit all districts.

He criticised the government for not paying compensation to kin of victims who committed suicide in the state. Demanding the government to pay compensation with interest to kin of AgriGold victims immediately, he said the government should speed up efforts to do justice the victims at the earliest. Earlier, the party leaders discussed the problems of the AgriGoldvictims. Party leaders Kolusu Parthasarathy, LellaAppireddy andVelampalli Srinivas were present.
