Man stabs woman, attempts suicide

Guntur:  A man stabbed woman with whom he is living at Sivalayam Street in Sattenapalli in Guntur district on Monday. According to police, the accused T Ramanjaneyulu living with Aruna, who deserted from her husband for the last four years. Recently he had a quarrel with her.

In a fit of rage, he attacked the woman and stabbed her inflicting serious injuries. Later, he stabbed himself. Both were shifted to GGH in Guntur for treatment.

They are undergoing treatment and out of danger. Later speaking to media, T Ramanjaneyulu said "Aruna stabbed him first while  he  was  going. Later, he stabbed her."

Sattenapalli DSP Kaleshavali said "Ramanjaneyulu has an extra martial affair with woman who  deserted from her husband. Police have registered a case.
