Shun violence against woman: Chandrababu
Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu on Sunday called upon people to shun violence against women. Referring to the rise of incidents pertaining to violence against women, the Chief Minister urged every one to come forward to put an end to such culture.
He was addressing TDP party leaders and workers during a One-Day workship organised here in the city. Naidu slammed the opposition parties — the YSRCP and the Congress for deliberately provoking people in sensitive issues in the state.
He further found fault with the public representatives encouraging cockfighting recently during Sankranthi festival. At a time when people are protecting culture, some external elements are trying to indulge in gambling, he said.
