Hit by RTC bus, old woman dies

Kurnool : Kamarchi Anjanamma (67) died when an RTC bus hit her at Kodumuru Old Bus Stand on Monday afternoon. Circle Inspector, A Srinivas disclosing details, said that the deceased Anjanamma was a resident of Kodmur.

She was hit by an RTC bus while she was on her way to her house from Old Bus Stand. She died on the spot and the driver of the bus Tirumalesh fled from the scene.

We have shifted the body for autopsy and later handed over to her family members. A case has been filed and investigation is underway. Bus was detained and we have intimated about the incident to the RTC officials of Pathikonda as the bus belongs to Pathikonda depot, stated the CI.
