TDP causing regional imbalances: Tulasi Reddy

Kadapa: Congress Party state vice-president NTulasi Reddy has urged the Kadapa people not to vote in favour of TDP in the forthcoming 2019 General elections.

Addressing the media persons at Vempalle on Monday, he said that TDP was responsible for creating regional imbalances between Andhraand Rayalaseema areas instead the addressing the different problems faced by Rayalaseema people.

He said that as per section 46 of AP ReorgansationAct, Union government has to sanction Rs 3,500 crores for the development of Kadapa district. But it had sanctioned only Rs 150 crores so far. As per 46 schedule of Reorganisation Act, Kadapa Steel Plant should be established long ago. 

Even afterthree and a half years, the governments have been delaying the issue in the name of committee reports. Future of  thousands of un employed youth in the district is  hanging in balance, said and demanded the Chief Minister should answer to the people on these two issues.

He said loan waiver scheme for farmers and SHG’s has not been implemented properly in the district and as such number of people have been making rounds to the offices seeking loan waiver.  When asked over Jana SenaParty president Padayatra, Tulasi Reddy said ,``there would be no impact of Pawan Kalyan in 2019 general elections as there was no specific ideology for his party.

He would remainas joker in the state politics.’’ Youth Congress state secretary KDruvakumar Reddy, DCC vice-president ChennaKesava Reddy and others were present.
