Woman arrested in cheque bounce case

Guntur: Police on Monday arrested Nandiraju Meenakshi Vithal, a resident of A T Agraharam here in connection with a cheque bounce case. According to police, Meenakshi Vithal issued a cheque to Kapil Chits(Coasta) PVT LTD which bounced.

Based on a complaint lodged by the chit fund company under the Negotiable instrument Act, Rajamahendravaram Third Additional Judicial First Magistrate Court issued a non-bailable arrest warrant against Meenakshi. Following this, Nagarampalem police  arrested Meenakshi Vithal and produced in the court which  remanded her.
