AP will be destination for Block Chain, Fintech technologies

Davos: Andhra Pradesh IT Minister Nara Lokesh on Tuesday asserted that Andhra Pradesh state would soon become a destination for Block Chain and Fintech technologies. Lokesh held a meeting with representatives of Block Chain and Fintech at World Economic forum (WEF) in Davos. 

Speaking on the occasion, Nara Lokesh said that the state government is a step ahead in using technology to render better services to the people. Several welfare schemes, development programmes have already been interlinked with technology, he said. As there is threat to data of the state government from hackers and fraudsters in the cyberspace, the government will utilise the services of Block Chain technology to safeguard. 

All land records under Amaravati and Vijayawada will be secured under Block Chain technology. By this, the government will curtail tampering of land records for some extent, he said.
