CPI (ML) demands judicial probe into Loya’s death

Eluru: The workers of CPI (ML) New Democracy staged a dharna at Jute Mill Centre here on Tuesday demanding that the Centre order a judicial probe into the death of CBI Court judge, Justice Loya and impeach the Chief Justice of India (CJI), Deepak Mishra who is currently facing charges of corruption.

The workers rallied to the Jute Mill Centre led by New Democracy and staged the protest at the Jute Mill Centre. Later, addressing a protest meeting in IFTU office, CPI (ML) New Democracy spokesman U Venkateswara Rao alleged that the Central Government led by BJP had taken control of the judiciary and dominating the system which affects the democracy in the country.

He regretted that it was shame on the part of the democracy that a CJI had to face the corruption allegations. He alleged that the Modi- Amit Shah duo became a criminal gang and Justice Loya died as he ordered the BJP President Amit Shah to appear in the Court proceedings.” 

CPI-ML (New Democracy) City Committee leader Badda Venkatrao presided over the protest meeting. IFTU leaders D Veeri Naidu, New Democracy leaders Kakarla Apparao, Badumuri Sreenu and others participated in the meeting.
