Devi Sri Prasad launches Adikavi Nannayya University song

Rajamahendravaram : Noted Cine music director Devi Sri Prasad (DSP) has launched Adikavi Nannayya University (AKNU) song at  its campus here on Thursday and his mother Siromani Satyavathi inaugurated Yoga centre in the name her husband Satyamurthi.

Later, Devi Sri Prasad has stressed on the need of a song to the universities, reflecting its history, importance. The song which was written by Venegalla Rambabu reflects the importance and advantages of the university and which is also a pride to the university.

Veteran cine playback singer SP Balasubramanyam had sung the university song. Devi Sri Prasad thanked the vice-chancellor professor Murru Mutyala Naidu for starting yoga centre in the name his father Satyamurthi.  

Later, vice-chancellor Professor Murru Mutyala Naidu has said that writer Venegalla Rambabu penned the university song covering all aspects. University Registrar Dr T Ashok, professors S Teki, PS Varma, MS Rao, writer Venegalla Rambabu, students and others were present.
