RSVP students excel in all-India Sastra contest

Tirupati: A group of 22 students along with two guides, Dr OGP Kalyana Sastry and Dr AS Shriram Bhat of Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha (RSVP), went to the Ekalavya Campus of the Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan, Agartala to participate in the 56th All India Sastra Competitions which were conducted from January 18 to 21 by Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan, New Delhi. The RSVP students bagged 4 prizes in the competitions.

The winners are M Sai Krishna-gold medal in Vedanta Shalaka, K Manogna-silver medal, Uma Maheswara-bronze medal in Bhagavad Gita recitation and Arabinda Nayak and A Sreevidya-bronze medal in quiz. The contingent met RSVP Vice-Chancellor Prof V Muralidhara Sharma here on Wednesday. The V-C has expressed happiness over the performance of the students.
