Woman Arrested For Cheating NRIs In Guntur

Police arrested a woman for cheating the NRIs in the name of marriage in Guntur.  Based on a complaint lodged by software engineer working in America,  police arrested Deepti from Bradipet area. 

Police said the accused created a fake account on matrimonial websites and lured the NRIs in the name of marriage. She took Rs 1.60 lakh from Dharani Kumar  and snapped contacts with the US based software engineer. 

Police said Deepti also cheated several persons on the pretext of marriages and the cases were pending in the state.
