AISF flays Centre’s move to induct religious courses in engineering

Vijayawada: The All India Students Federation (AISF) state general secretary G Ranganna flayed the Union Minister Prakash Javdekar for his move for introduction of puranas, Vedas and yoga in engineering courses. Speaking to media persons here on Friday, Ranganna wondered how the minister could suggest the courses in engineering education.

He criticised the BJP government for making plans to inject religious lessons into the minds of students. The Union Minister is not focusing on technical issues, he regretted. The students’ leader also said the education system was facing severe challenges due to the plans of BJP government.
