Akkineni Vanaja elected Dist CPI secy

Vijayawada: The new committee has been elected for Krishna District CPI unit at the party district-level extended meeting which was held at Nandigama town. Akkineni Vanaja has been re-elected as district unit secretary for third time.

Ch Koteswara Rao and Narla Venkateshwara Rao were also elected as assistant secretaries. As many as 14 members, including CPI city unit secretary Donepudi Shankar, were also elected as secretariat members.

Vanaja thanked the party members for electing her as secretary for third time. Speaking to media persons here on Thursday, she said that she would continue her efforts towards providing justice to the poor.
