Dutch, Swiss nationals in Swachh Bharat

Bhimavaram: Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s call on Swachh Bharat inspired the Dutch people.  A Dutch team comprising 12 members reached Bhimavaram on Thursday to visit Raj Trust established in the 11th ward of the town.

The 12 members from Dutch (Netherlands) and two members from Switzerland cleaned the streets at 11th ward in Gunupudi. Speaking on the occasion, the team members said that they toured India several times. However, compared to those days, the cleanliness and sanitation have changed.

“We think the change has witnessed following the call given by Prime Minister Narendra Modi for a clean India (Swachh Bharat). This credit goes to Indian Prime Minister” they stated. They opined that to achieve hundred per cent results, everyone in the country have to take up the Swachh Bharat programme for a clean environment in their areas.

Team members consisting of Mrs Tine, Ms Luca, Ms Nathaniyya, Mrs Honie, Mrs Irene, Mrs Arushallya, Mr and Mrs Harin participated in the programme. They expressed their joy for participating in the programme.
