L&T told to accelerate road works in Amaravati
Amaravati: Snail’s pace progress of road works in Amaravati has irked the Amaravati Development Corporation (ADC) officials. The ADC chairman D Lakshmi Parthsaradhi expressed annoyance over the non-progress of sub-arterial roads-E-3 and E-4 under package 11.
The ADC chairman inspects road works at Lingayapalem and other villages and inquired the L&T‘s chief architect of construction division Elangovan about non-progress in road works for the last two months.
She expressed her dissatisfaction and wanted the company representatives to explain reasons for the slow progress of works. She further directed to accelerate the road construction works and complete as soon as possible.
“You should keep in mind the fact that the company has taken up capital city construction works but not ordinary works. You have to work as per targets set by the state government and complete the works in time,” she told them.
The ADC chairman also visited bridge works across the N-14 road at Rayapudi village and expressed satisfaction over the progress of the works.
ADC chief engineer T Moses Moses Kumar and other were present.
