Run for Republic organised

Nellore: Helping Hands in Youth, a NGO organised ‘Run for Republic’ on Thursday in connection with the Republic Day on Friday. The organisers said they had conducted the event in memory of many great leaders, who sacrificed their lives for independence of the country.

NUDA Chairman K Srinivasulu Reddy has participated as the chief guest and appreciated their efforts for displaying 69 feet long national flag on the occasion. He said patriotism among youngsters is very essential. Representatives from the educational institutions, voluntary organisations, youth associations, and student groups have participated.
