Affordable energy need of the hour: HPCL ED Visakh Refinery

Visakhapatnam: Executive Director of Visakh Refinery of Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited GSVSSS Prasad Sarma insisted the improvement of safety in refinery operations and emphasised the need for safety and environmental measures and systemic implementation.  

The executive director stated about the upcoming projects in Visakh Refinery and production of Euro-IV standard petroleum products. Emphasising the synergy and team work to face the challenges, Prasad Sarma said profitability being the major concern, he urged all the employees to raise up to the occasion in bringing fundamental changes towards reliability in operations and energy efficiency.  

He stressed the augmentation of refinery facilities on a timely basis which is one of the prime requirements for enhancing the profitability. As part of the Republic Day celebrations, Prasad Sarma unfurled the National Flag on the refinery premises. 

Speaking on the occasion, Prasad Sarma dwelt upon the projected economic growth.  He stressed that the affordable and reliable energy is crucial to achieve a modern and developed India at par with the advanced countries.
