All India Invitation Volleyball Tournament inaugurated

Guntur: Former Minister Makineni Pedarattaiah inaugurated Marella Kailash Reddy Memorial Second All India Invitation Volleyball Tournament at the NTR Municipal Corporation Stadium here on Friday. Speaking on the occasion, he said that sports will bring out innate talent in the players and appreciated the organisers for conducting the tournament. 

MLA Modugula Venugopala Reddy said that the tournament is being conducted to encourage players. Later, Makineni Pedarattaiah  and Modugula Venugopala Reddy inaugurated the tournament formally by releasing balloons. 

As many as 14 teams are participating in the eight-day tournament.  Delhi Services team will play against SRM Chennai team in the first match. Sports Authority of Andhra Pradesh OSD Ramakrishna was also present.
