Chamber of Commerce launches Haritha Haram

Tirupati: Temple city’s Chamber of Commerce has launched Haritha Haram programme aimed at plantation in Tirupati Urban Development Authority (TUDA) limits. 

The programme was inaugurated by Tirupati MLA M Suguna, TUDA Chairman G Narasimha Yadav and Commissioner C Hari Kiran on Friday. Speaking on the occasion, Chamber president A Manjunath said that they have taken up this programme as part of social responsibility.

Under this programme, the Chamber of Commerce will take up plantation programme from ESI Hospital to Urban Tahsildar office and protect them. The association treasurer KV Chowdary said that they will plant 1,000 saplings. Earlier, Chamber representatives have celebrated the Republic Day.
