Tollywood facing story crisis

Visakhapatnam: Chairman of Telugu Cine Writers Association Parchuri Gopalakrishna opined that the Tollywood is facing story crisis. Good and concept based stories are not coming, he pointed out.

Telugu Cine Writers Association launched a three-day workshop on script writing and screenplay. Speaking on the occasion, Paruchuri Gopalakrishna said that the Telugu industry is one of the highest revenue generated film industry among the other film industries.

However, during the recent past, there are no creative stories and producers are looking at the innovative story ideas. In order to promote and encourage new writers, the association is organising the workshop.

He called upon the young writers to avail the opportunity. Managing Trustee of Telugu Cine Writers Association Akella said that senior writers Vijayendra Prasad, Sai Nadh, KL Prasad and KV Rama Rao would attend the workshop on Saturday and share their experiences with the participants in the workshop.  Writers Indu Ramana, Nataraj and SV Ramarao were also present.
