Pulse polio drive today

Visakhapatnam: Over 7,458 mobile teams would go from house-to-house in the identified 550 high risk areas to administer polio drops to the children in the age group of zero and five years as part of the first phase of Pulse Polio Immunisation Programme(PPIP) which will be conducted on January 28 and second phase will be on March  11 in the district, said Additional Joint Collector A Siri. 

District officials identified 550 high risk areas around the district in which special mobile teams  will go to the areas inhabited by daily wage labourers , brick kilns, construction areas and fishermen colonies.
