Several major companies keen on investing in State: Naidu
Amaravati: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu said that his four-day visit to Davos to attract investments to State was successful and the entire world looked at Andhra Pradesh’s lounge. He said that he has been attending the World Economic Forum meeting at Davos since 1995, when he first became Chief Minister.

Several major companies evinced interest to invest in AP, Chandrababu Naidu explained with confidence on upcoming investments to the State.
Speaking to media persons at the Secretariat on Saturday, Chandrababu Naidu said that he participated in 25 bilateral meetings and signed two MoUs including sister state agreement with Canton of Zurich and an MoU with Hitachi MGRM Citizen lifecycle E governance platform with Hitachi President Toshiaki Higashihara.
He said the Alibaba company promised to set up second data centre in AP after Mumbai. He said Medtec innovation is ready to establish their own Medtech Park in Visakhapatnam. He said that he invited chairman Roche group Christoph Franz to join the initiative of high quality electronic medical records for the population.
A delegation from Agility Logistics is soon expected to visit Amaravati, informed Chandrababu Naidu. “I asked for support from SAP on development of a system which can help govt with predictive analytics of state revenue expenditure,” explained Chandrababu Naidu.
He said that he participated in a luncheon interactive session on ‘Technologies for Tomorrow.’ On the concluding day, he participated in a discussion with UN Environment on transforming agriculture through Natural Farming in AP, the state of Progress, explained the Chief Minister.
He said that he gave a call on the importance of natural farming, for which World Bank, UN Environment, World Agriculture Organization experts and scientists expressed keen interest.The World Bank promised to extend support in this field, he added.
He said that AP would be developed as an Innovation Valley. The Chief Minister said several programmes being implemented in AP including Real Time governance, e-Pragati, water conservation, AP Fibernet received good applause from delegates at World Economic Forum.
