Collector administers polio drops to children

Kurnool: As part of the nation-wide Pulse Polio Immunisation programme, District Collector S Satyanarayana has administered polio drops to the children below 5 years at A Camp, Indira Gandhi Memorial Municipal High School in Kurnool city on Sunday. 

On this occasion, the Collector said that district administration has been conducting pulse polio programme as per the instructions of the government every year though the district recorded zero polio cases. 

He called upon the people to extend their support by voluntary bringing their children to the camps for administering polio drops. Kurnool MLA SV Mohan Reddy, District Medical and Health Officer (DMHO), Y Narasimhulu  and others participated in the opening ceremony of first phase of immunisation programme.
