Cong leader takes dig at Pawan for flattering CMs
Kadapa: Senior Congress leader and former minister C Ramachandraiah has pointed out that the political padayatra being performed by Jana Sena party supremo Pawan Kalyan is meaning less as he has no clarity in his speech.
Addressing a press conference here on Sunday, he said that during his (Pawan’s) tour in Telangana, he praised Chief Minister K Chandra sekhar Rao, while in Andhra Pradesh he is spending most of his time lauding A P Chief Minister instead of raising various problems being faced by the people. “During the Padayatra’s politicians are expected to focus grievances like agriculture, education, medical, corruption etc But interestingly, Jana Sena leader is trying to praise the governments due to various reasons,’’ the Congress leader said.
He said that Chief Minister N Chandra Babu has been wasting crores of public money for touring foreign countries in the name of bringing investments and industries to the state. But nothing has been done so far. Chief Minister has no good relations with the central government and he failed to secure projects and funds to the state, Ramachandraiah said.
He demanded that Chief Minister should disclose the discussions held between Prime Minister and him during his recent Delhi tour. DCC president S K Nazir Ahmad and others were present.
