High Court judge takes part in sun salutation

Pithapuram: Hyderabad High Court Judge justice A Ramalingeswara Rao and local legislators along with local judges performed sun salutations on the banks of temple pond of Kukkuteswara temple at Padagaya on Sunday competing with the students. 

They participated in the sun salutations programme, arranged on the directions from state government, along with officials of other departments and students.

Others who took part in the programme were senior civil judge Ammanna Raja, junior civil judge K Haribabu, municipal chairman Karanam Chinna Rao, tahsildar B Suguna, temple executive officer Chandaka Darababu, temple trust chairman Prakash, TDP local president Reddem Bhaskar Rao.Yoga guru N Srinivas conducted the programme.

Earlier, the temple priests and authorities extended justice Ramalingeswara Rao traditional welcome with full temple honours. Later the justice offered puja to Lord Dattatreya.

The HC judge was received by local judges Ammanna Raja and Haribabu. The MLA gave the high court judge the temple prasadam. Meanwhile, Justice Ramalingeswara Rao on Sunday called upon  parents to administer polio drops to every child of below five years to eradicate polio from the society.

The justice along with local MLA Varma inaugurated the pulse polio immunisation centre at Padagaya pilgrimage centre. Medical officers in Government Hospital Vijaya Sekhar and Padmasri, sub-judge Ammanna Raja, magistrate Haribabu, temple executive officer Chandaka Darababu, tahsildar Suguna were present.
