MLA demands centralised recruitment in varsities

Uravakonda(Anantapur):  Local MLA Y Visveshwara Reddy has demanded a centralised recruitment system for filling up all the vacant posts in all the universities in the state. In a press statement issued here on Sunday, the MLA said that applicants should be allowed to apply for jobs in any university in the state with single fee payment.

He decried the delay in filling vacant posts in the universities in the state. Even four years after the notifications were given, there is ambiguity on the mode of appointments, he said and demanded transparency in the selection of candidates. He found fault with universities charging Rs.1,000 per application.
