Badminton Association of India vice-prez donates 50.14 lakh to Tirumala

Tirumala: The retractable roof will be utilised in a full-fledged manner in Srivari temple said Tirumala JEO KS Srinivasa Raju. Speaking to media outside Tirumala temple on Wednesday the JEO said, Badminton Association of India (BAT) vice-president V Chamundeshwarnath has donated Rs 50.14 lakh towards setting up the roof from Tirumala Raya Mandapa to Kalyana mandapam way today.

Adding further he said, My Home Group Chairman Rameswara Rao donated Rs 1.01 crore to TTD out of which Rs 74 lakh will be spent on the roof from Padikavili to Dhwajastambham. The JEO said, similarly donors have also come forward to lay the roof at Vakulamata Potu, Parakamani and Sabera encircling the temple.
