Resolve pleas within 3 months: House panel

Tirupati: The AP MLC Committee on Petitions has instructed the district officials to clear the pending petitions within three months. The panel under the chairmanship of Reddy Subramanyam held a review meeting at Padmavathi Guest house here on Tuesday, on various petitions.

The panel has reviewed petitions on land problems. Panel chief Reddy Subramanyam advised District Collector PS Pradyumna to clear the petitions as early as possible. Otherwise, committee will call for an explanation, he stated. He has instructed TTD JEO Srinivasa Raju to pay the salaries to employees of Sannidhi Golla at Tirumala temple on par with Brahmin archakas.

On the committee’s direction, Srinivasa Raju responded and said that the TTD is already paying good salaries to Sannidhi Golla staff. In the meeting, MLCs Venkata Satyanaryana Raju, Gangula Prabhakar Reddy and B Arjunudu were present.
