6 held for abetting suicide of youth

Srikakulam: The six accused were arrested out of seven on the charge of abetting the suicide of a youth at Palasa. Superintendent of Police Dr CM Trivikrama Varma produced the accused before the media at district police office here.

The arrested were identified as Pyla Chakradhar TDP 14th ward councillor of Palasa municipality, Pyla Gurumurthy, Gunta Dharma Rao, Pinakana Ramesh, Palavalasa Vykunta Rao, Pyla Venkatesh, a constable working with CRPF and Pinakana Lakshmana is still at large.

It may be recalled that Doki Harish committed suicide when he was humiliated and assaulted at the sweet shop where he was working over a petty issue.
