Varsities should have Intellectual Property Rights policy

Visakhapatnam: India universities must have Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) policy to commercialise research aspects particularly the outcomes of major research projects and PhDs, stressed National Research Development Corporation (NRDC) Intellectual Property Rights Promotion wing head Bijay Kumar Sahu. He participated at a seminar on ‘IP (Intellectual Property) awareness programme for academia’ at GITAM here on Wednesday.
