Vigilance and enforcement building opened

Visakhapatnam: Principal Secretary of the Home Department AR Anuradha said that the department has been taking several initiatives to protect the government assets. 

She inaugurated the new regional vigilance and enforcement department building here at MVP Colony on Thursday. Later, speaking to the media, Anuradha said that the department would work with mutual support of police, revenue, engineering and other departments.

Visakhapatnam stood in first place in generating more income to the government. The vigilance and enforcement officials have been facing troubles while attending duties due to lack of proper infrastructure at Balayyasastri Layout office.

In order to provide good accommodation, the department urged the VUDA in this regard. In turn, they agreed and constructed the office on their premises with facilities.
