YSRCP leaders allege police highhandedness 

Vijayawada: YSRCP leaders on Thursday submitted a representation to DGP M Malakondaiah at his office in Mangalagiri alleging that the police has been harassing the YSRCP leaders and workers by filing false cases. YSRCP leaders Kolusu Parthasarathi, Jogi Ramesh, Malladi Vishnu, Velampalli Srinivas, Yarlagadda Venkata Rao, Boppana Bhava Kumar and others met the DGP at his office.

They asked the DGP to take measures to check the police harassment against the party functionaries and leaders in Krishna and Guntur districts.  They alleged that the TDP leaders are abetting the police to harass the YSRCP cadre. Responding to it, the DGP said that the police would look into it.
