15 students suspended for ragging junior in NIT Andhra Pradesh

Ragging has once again garnered prominence in West Godavari district's Thadepalligudem National Institute of Technology (NIT) college. 

A group of Engineering students pursuing the third year ragged a fresher from Bihar which resulted in a clash between seniors & juniors on Friday night.

The situation turned intense following which the police intervened and filed cases against 15 seniors.

The police have also made special security arrangements at the college. The students involved in the ragging incident have also been suspended by the college management.

Thadepalligudem MRO has also reached the college and is inquiring into the incident.
