College golden jubilee: Sand artist exhibits skills

Kakinada: Noted sand artist of the district and alumnus of the famous Maha Rani College of Peddapuram Srinivas made a sand sculpture at the college compound here on Sunday. 

He depicted the Goddess of Wisdom and Knowledge Saraswati in the middle and on either side he made sculptures of college founders SPBK Satyanarayana Rao and Bathu.Seethayamma. 

Speaking on the occasion, sand artist Srinivas said that the Maha Rani College was established in 1967 and he studied from 1995-98 and graduated from that college. He further said that to commemorate the golden jubilee of the college, he made a sculpture of Goddess Saraswathi.
