Supply sufficient drinking water in ensuing summer

Guntur: Guntur Municipal Corporation Commissioner Challa Anuradha inspected the water filtration plant at Takkelapadu in Guntur city here on Sunday and enquired about the ongoing repair works to supply drinking water during the ensuing summer.  

The engineering department officials explained to the Commissioner  about the progress of the work.  She directed them to speed up the works to supply drinking to meet the increasing demand and inspected the filter beds and examined the other material that they purchased for water supply. 

She instructed them to maintain quality in works.  She enquired about clear water pump houses and leaks also. She directed them to supply sufficient water during the coming summer.
