Voters grievance redressal today
Anantapur: The Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Ram Prakash Sisodia held a video-conference with all Returning Officers (ROs) in the state and instructed all booth level officers to be available in their offices between 10 am and 5 pm from February 4th to 11th for redressing the grievances of voters and also for enrolling new voters, who were born on or before January 1, 2000.

District Collectors, who are ROs, should hold meetings with political parties on the electoral rolls published by the State Election Commission (SEC). District Collector Veera Pandian has informed the CEO that 24,006 new voters were enrolled as on Saturday, 140 objections filed, 3,085 applications were received for amendments and 781 forms received for transfer of votes to other booths.
As many as 37,541 duplicate voters were detected. Voters are urged to contact the special cell in the Collectorate for any clarifications and verifications. Voters need to submit age proof certificate and 2 colour photographs. Form 6 should be filled for new enrolments, form 7 for lodging complaints, form 8 for amendments and form 8A for transfer of votes from one booth to another.Joint Collectors T K Ramamani and Syed Khaja Mohiuddin, and other officials were present.
