Kurnool: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLC Somu Veerraju has ridiculed the ruling Telugu Desam Party on Sunday.  He alleged that the funds allocated by the Central government have been largely misused in Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu’s constituency.

He said that he is making these remarks and revolting against the TDP government on the directions of BJP leadership. The MLC participated as a chief guest at election booth level BJP activists programme organised by the party at Shakuntala Kalyana Mandapam in Kurnool on Sunday.

Addressing the BJP activists, Somu Veerraju, attacking the TDP leaders, has said the central funds have gone into the hands of corrupt leaders. Instead of displaying Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s portrait for central sponsored schemes, the TDP leaders are using   Naidu’s photo. The schemes that are being implemented in the state are of central government and not of state government, he stated.

Making these comments, the MLC alleged that Rs.1,000 crore corruption was taken place in Naidu’s constituency. There is no ruling in the state except trading, the BJP MLC alleges.

Earlier, Naidu has totally concentrated on the development of Hyderabad and now also he is doing the same thing by developing Amaravati and neglecting other districts. All places in Andhra Pradesh need equal developments, the MLC added.
