Crude bomb maker held

Srikakulam: Laveru police arrested a crude bomb maker on Sunday. According to Superintendent of Police Dr CM Trivikrama Varma, the accused was identified as Juni Ravi Singh of Yathapeta in Etcherla mandal. He was making crude bombs by purchasing material from Vizianagaram and used these bombs to kill wild and domestic animals.
After killing the animals, he used to sell meat in the villages. Five days ago, he put a bomb underneath grass on the banks of Budumuru tank in which a cow was injured severely and died later as bomb was exploded when the cow tried to consume the grass. Police launched search and arrested the accused on Sunday and recovered five bombs from him.
