Grasp latest technology to get jobs: Sujana to students
Guntur: Union Minister of state for Science and Technology Sujana Chowdary stressed on the need to learn latest technology to get better employmentopportunities. At a programme held at the Kamma Jana SevaSamithi in Guntur on Sunday, he distributed scholarships to the students.
On the occasion,he urged the students to use education as a tool to solve problems in the society and emphasised significance of education. Students having enterprising qualities may set up industrial units to generate employment opportunities. Fifty per cent in population comprise women. But they are not getting their share in employment,’’ he said.
Minister for Civil Supplies Prattipati Pulla Rao has stressed on significance of discipline in life and suggested the students to do hard work to come up in life. Later,they distributed Rs.40 lakh scholarships to the students. MP Galla Jayadev, MLAs GVAnjaneyulu and Kommalapati Sridharwere among those participated.
