Jagan using Vijay Sai to block funds to State
Amaravati: YSRCP president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy has been using his MP Vijay Sai Reddy in Rajya Sabha as a weapon to prevent funds flow to the State from Central government, blamed TDP official spokesperson Dinakar Lanka here on Sunday.
He said Vijay Sai Reddy spoke against the interests of Andhra Pradesh following presentation of the Union Budget by Finance Minister Arun Jaitley.
The TDP leader said that the YSRCP MPs did not raise the issue of unjustifiable allocations tor AP in the Budget and instead welcomed it. Dinakar wondered why YSRCP president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy had no courage to speak against the Union Budget.
Jagan failed miserably as Opposition leader, he said. He pointed out that Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu met Prime Minister Narendra Modi well in advance before presentation of the Union Budget and urged him to see that promises made in AP Reorganisation Act were implemented.
Naidu had expressed displeasure after the Centre ignored AP in the Union Budget, the TDP leader pointed out.
