Sensitise people on cancer: Commissioner

Rajampet: Municipal Commissioner NV Ramana Reddy on Sunday flagged off a rally organised under the aegis of Mission for Elimination of Poverty in Municipal Areas (MEPMA) and Urban Women Health Council (UWHC) to sensitise people on methods of prevention of cancer on the World Cancer Prevention Day.

As part of it, Ananda Lahari, a cultural event and several other programmes including a mimicry were organised at the municipal office.
Deputy executive engineer B Srinivasulu, assistant engineer K Mohan, sanitary inspector RPVSN Singh, revenue inspectors B Harinath, R Penchalaiah, manager T Kanaka Raju, junior accountant K Bala Subramaniyam, senior accountant Srinivasulu, town planning supervisor G Saradamba, TDP state secretary Dr Sudhakar, TDP district women’s wing president M Srivani, TDP town president T Sanjeeva Rao, public prosecutor Lakshminarayana, Dr Shekar and others took part.
